NYSC online registration portal: How to register with N500 only

– NYSC online registration portal: How to register with N500.

Are you a Prospective Corps Members (PCM), and you don’t have enough money to register for NYSC? In this article, I’ll show you how to register at the NYSC online registration portal with just N500 or below that amount.

I was forced to write this article because of a certain post I spotted on a blog teaching Prospective Corps Members to run away with their money after registrations at Cyber Cafe.

The author called it a trick, but what kind of trick could that be? You can check how to verify your name on the NYSC Senate list.

Because I don’t want you to run away with cyber cafe attendant’s money after your  NYSC online registration, I decided to share with you a better way to register at minimal cost.

NYSC online registration with N500 only

What I want to show you is not a cheat, and you’ll not hurt or offend anyone by doing it. It’s 100% working and legal.

If you come across a blog that teaches people how to run away after getting a service that they supposed to pay for, then that alone shows the kind of people behind the blog. You can check how to make payment and check payment status during NYSC online registration.

So, by applying the method I will show you, it will at least reduce your NYSC normal registration cost, and also save you from stress of waiting for turn in a long queue at cyber cafe.

If you don’t have money to pay about N2,000 they will charge you in Cyber Cafe for NYSC registration or you don’t want to queue for registration, then you can apply the method which I  will show you.

Remember that this method is not a cheat, it will help reduce the normal registration cost.

Without wasting much of your time, let me quickly go into details.

Note: You have to be sure that you have a computer or smartphone and a working network. Either your modem or your mobile hotspot. Or you have a friend who has them. Yoy can check sample of NYSC online registration form.

How to register at the NYSC online registration portal With N500

The only reason you might not want to do the NYSC online registration by yourself is because of the thumbprint device.

Because at a stage during NYSC registration, the system will ask you to thumbprint before you can proceed to the next stage.

If you have a thumbprint device/scanner or can collect from someone, maybe a friend, then you can complete your NYSC registration without any monetary cost.

If you don’t have thumbprint scanner, but you have a smart phone or computer, then you can register for NYSC with just N500 or less by following the steps below:

1. Go to the NYSC registration portal at portal.nysc.ng.org to start your registration with you computer or smart phone.

NOTE: The NYSC online registration system automatically save each process you have passed through during registration.

So you can logout and login any time to start from where you stopped.

2. When you get to the stage where to thumbprint, but because you don’t have thumb printing scanner, just log out.

3. Go to Cyber Cafe, and tell them that you only want to do thumb printing, they would charge you N500 or less.

4. After thumb printing in Cyber Cafe, log out and go back home.

5. When you get home, login and proceed to other stage (by that time, you have passed thumb printing)

Wow! You see how applying this method will cost you only N500! At least it is better than running away without paying.

  1. Morning sir, what if I use my phone to snap a passport or I crop a picture to passport size, can I upload day or it’s not advisable for me to do that

    • If you have your passport on your phone, you can easily upload it. When you take a passport photograph, tell the photographer to send the soft copy to your phone.

    • Some of these scanning apps are not really good. NYSC needs a quality passport photograph. You can tell the photographer to send soft copy of your passport to your phone or scan it with scanning machine instead of using apps.

  3. Pls help clarify something here. Me and s friend are arguing on it.

Pls “SMARTPHONE” and “ANDROID PHONES” are they the same thing or not?

    • I think every Android phone is a smartphone. A smartphone in a lay man understanding is any phone that can browse like computer, take clear pictures (back and front cameras), has camera flash, has RAM, accept applications, can be connected to external devices and can handle other smart tasks
