JAMB UTME Result Checker @ https://www.jamb.gov.ng: The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB’s result is the total score a candidate gets after writing the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Exam (UTME), which the Board usually release 3-4 days after the exam. In other words, UTME result is the outcome of JAMB test. In this article, you will learn how to check your UTME score without using scratch card.
Kindly note, that candidates are expected to print out the JAMB result slip for admission processing.
Candidates who sat for the last concluded Unified Tertiary Matriculation Exam, are to proceed to jamb portal to check their UTME result.
To check your JAMB score online, you need a smartphone and internet connection service, while checking offline requires not such. In fact with even a Nokia torch, you are good to go.
JAMB UTME Result Checker | How to check your UTME result Online
To check your JAMB result online, kindly follow the steps below;
1) Visit JAMB portal at https://jamb.gov.ng
2) Click on “JAMB SERVICE WEBSITE (E-FACILITY)” under ‘QUICK LINK’ section.
3) Click on “UTME 2021 Main Examination Slip” button.
4) Enter your JAMB Reg Number or e-Mail or GSM Number.
5) Click on “Print Examination Slip”
Once you followed the above steps, your UTME score will be displayed for viewing and printing.
Note: If you see this message “No Results Yet,” do not panic. It means your result is not yet ready because the JAMB release results batch by batch. In a short period, your result will be ready.
How to check UTME Result via SMS
Another way to check your JAMB or UTME score is by sending SMS message to 55019. Please, use the same number that was used for registration.
NB: the service charge is N50, so you must have at least 50 credit balance on your line. Your JAMB score will be sent to you shortly as response.
Expect the following response from JAMB
- If you use a phone number that was not used during registration, you get this response “This phone number was not used for registration.”

If your result is ready, you will receive “Dear Mr/Miss ‘YOUR NAME’, your result is as follows…(and your result will be shown)

If your result is withheld, you will see ” Result Withheld” or “Result Withheld pending the upload of clarification/documents required from you”

If you were absent, you will see “CANDIDATE ABSENT”

If you gained unauthorized access to exam hall, you will see “Invalid Entrance into the Exam Hall”.
