Due to coronavirus pandemic, the management of National Youth Service Corps, (NYSC) has decided to suspend the Community Development Service, (CDS) activities of Corps Members Nationwide.
Below is the information from the memo.
SUSPENSION OF CDS ACTIVITIES
Sequel to the pandemic of coronavirus (COVID-19) globally and management concern for the wellbeing of corps members nationwide, I am directed to inform you to suspend all Community Development Service (CDS) activities until further notice.
2. This obvious course of action is dictated by circumstances beyond our control. The sudden changes in many countries warranting social changes between persons and isolation of persons on account of COvID-19 present no other option, but to stop CDS activities because of the large number of persons in close contacts.
3.With the abundance of caution, avoidance of errors is easily achievable. Further information shall be communicated as directed. You are to act immediately by informing all the field officers to comply with this directive, please.
