The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has suspended camping for 2020 Batch A Stream 2 over coronavirus fears. The orientation exercise which was earlier scheduled to commence on Thursday, 2nd April 2020, will no longer hold.
The indefinite suspension is coming after the scheme also suspended the ongoing 2020 Batch A Stream 1 orientation camping on Wednesday morning.
The 2020 Batch A Stream 1 corps members received the letters to their places of primary assignment and will return to the orientation camp to complete their orientation exercise at a later date, probably when the coronavirus situation improves.
At the moment of filling this report, the NYSC management has announced that no corps member or camp official has contracted the coronavirus.
