Buhari Offers Automatic Employment to 110 NYSC Members

The Nigeria President, Muhammadu Buhari has offered automatic employment to 110 ex-members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) into Federal Civil Service. Loan

Buhari also offered scholarship opportunities to the ex-Corps members to enable them pursue their post-graduate studies up to a doctoral level in any university within Nigeria.

President Buhari made the offers while he spoke at a virtual 2018/2019 President National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Honours Award Ceremony held at the State House Conference Centre in Abuja. Quick loan

Buhari also announced cash rewards for the ex-corps members, and directed the relevant agencies to fast track the implementation of all the offers.

“On behalf of the government and the good people of Nigeria, I heartily congratulate those honoured on standing out from their peers to merit the honour being bestowed upon them.

“You have proved yourselves worthy ambassadors of your respective families and the National Youth Service Corps. I am very proud of you and confident that the Award shall spur you to greater service to the Nation and humanity,’’ he said.

The President thanked founders of the NYSC scheme, General Yakubu Gowon, which has been in existence for over 45 years.
