Buhari Sacks NYSC DG Over Incompetence
Buhari Sacks NYSC DG – The President of Nigeria, General Muhammadu Buhari, has sacked the Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier-General Mohammed Fadah.
Though, the reason for sacking him is sketchy at the time of this publication.
When contacted, the NYSC spokesman, Eddy Megwa, simply asked journalists to wait for an official statement that would be issued on Friday.
However, a source from the NYSC directorate, disclosed that the reason is hinged on gross incompetence.
The source described the sack as “the best thing to happen to NYSC”, saying that his Fadah’s leadership of the scheme was the worst recorded ever.
The source said;
“How would you justify a situation where a whole DG will sit down on the bare floor inside the elevator with his uniform. He would move around the office complex on slippers. The most painful of all was what has become a habit of sleeping inside the Mosque with his uniform”.
Nyscinfo learnt that the president sacked the NYSC boss on Thursday, November 2022.
Fadah’s removal came six months after his appointment as the NYSC boss in May 2022.
