Recall that on November 10th, President Muhammadu Buhari flagged-off National Young Farmers Scheme (NYFS), under the National Agricultural Land Development Authority (NALDA) at the State House, Abuja.

Since then, many people have been asking questions like ‘how they can apply for the Young Farmers Scheme’. So, here we have good news for all Nigerians interested for the programme.

There was a zoom chat programme today, hosted by the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development in which a representative from NALDA disclosed how interested applicants can apply for the programme.

How to apply for National Young Farmers Scheme

According to NALDA representative, the method of recruitment is a community-based. This means that recruitment is done through the stakeholders or NALDA focal persons in your community.

If you are interested, simply locate the stakeholders in your community for enrollment, or visit NALDA office in your state to get more details on how to register or who to meet in your community.

  1. The arrangement is not adequate and its bad. Imaging the non indigin interest in other state which will not be allow to participate. Are you saying they should go to their villages?
