Release and Transportation of 2020 Batch A Stream 1 Corps Members Back to Camp

There is a letter written to the Clerk Adamawa State House of Assembly from the NYSC Adamawa State coordinator asking them to release and assist 2020 Batch ‘A’ Stream 1 back to camp whenever they are called.

According to the letter, the NYSC management is considering calling Batch ‘A’ Stream 1 back to camp soon to complete their remaining orientation course.

The content of the letter is as shown below:

“I wish to remind you that the 2020 Batch ‘A’Stream I Orientation course was impromptuly  suspended due to the out break of the covid 19 Virus worldwide.

However, management is considering inviting the corps members back to camp very soon to complete the orientation course.

2. In the light of above,management is soliciting that whenever they are called back, you should kindly release and assist the 2020 Batch ‘A’ stream I corps members with transportation to and from the orientation camp.

Recall that the NYSC DG has had made it clear that 2020 Batch ‘A”Stream I will go back to camp once the scheme gets ‘green light’ from the Federal Government to resume orientation camp activities. Meanwhile, Last week on 7th Sept, the NYSC DG got the green light to reopen orientation camp when tertiary institutions open.

Another information reaching Nyscinfo news desk is from a local government inspector calling on 2020 Batch A Stream 1 Corps members to report to their Local government of primary assignment secretariat for collection of letters to employers for release and transportation to camp.

“Corp members who will be going back to Camp to complete their 2weeks Orientation.
You are requested to report at your various Local Government Secretariat for collection of letters to your employers for release and transportation on or before Friday 11/09/2020.”

WARNING: Corps members are to confirm this information from their various Local Government Inspectors (LGIs) before taking any action. Do not go to your PPA or travel without confirming this information from your LGI.

  2. Hello Mr Humphrey, I have a question about PPA Placement.

    Im a Batch A Stream 2 PCM, If i have Company already willing to accept me and im yet to go to camp for the 3 weeks orientation …

    How do i make it works out, without being posted to another place and doing the whole getting a rejection letter thing?

    Is there a possibility of me going to camp with a request letter and how should i go about it??
