Why Do 3rd Class graduates Do Better than 1st Class Graduates?
It’s noticeable that many 3rd class graduates become more successful than their 1st class counterparts after school. Do you agree with that?

It’s believed that 1st class students sacrifice all energy to make good grades thinking that with their grades they will automatically make it in life.
But 3rd class student who already knows it will be difficult to get a good job after school will look for a way to survive.
So, most of the 3rd class graduates are entrepreneurs, while most of the 1st class graduates are busy searching for white collar jobs.
A professor from the University of Ghana said;
“You could graduate as the best student in Finance but it doesn’t mean you will make more money than everybody else. The best graduating Law student does not necessarily become the best lawyer.

“The fact is life requires more than the ability to understand a concept, memorize and reproduce it in an exam. School rewards people for their memory. Life rewards people for their imagination and innovations.

Life is not all about academic grades. Buhari, the president of Nigeria isn’t a university graduate. Rotimi Amaechi, Peter Obi , Dino and so on allegedly graduated with 3rd Class. Forget about your Certificate, acquire skills and you will be fine.

Though everything centers on God’s divine grace but nevertheless,one still need to put more effort to stand out academically. 3rd usually comes with a demoralizing effect, so strive to come out with something better though to your best ability.

But this doesn’t encourage that university students should relax on 3’rd class intellectual standard as it is buttressed that they are more at success than their 1’st class.on an advisory note, I implore Nigerian students to aim for the highest academic grade as :”education is the most powerful weapon that can move a nation forward, Nelson Mandela”.

This does not means the 1st class students are unsuccessful in life but they always engaged themselves in academic line and normally academic line does not give opportunity to became rich.

Well, it is quiet good to bring such educative and wise statement, being a 1st class graduate does mean you are more successful then 3rd class graduate, what matter is do your ability and pray, with these two god’s grace you will succeed hence success is in the hand of God Almighty.

This should not imply that 1st class students aren’t innovative or entrepreneurs. Making it or becoming successful after school is an individual thing,its a product of hardwork and level of exposure to certain knowledge outside merely academic both while in school and outside school.
