The Borno State Primary Health Care Development Agency (SPHCDA) was established in 2013 as an autonomous agency of the Borno State Government by the Primary Healthcare Administrators of Borno State with the goal of enhancing the standard of primary healthcare delivery to the populace and developing strategic public health policies for the State. The government of Governor Kashim Shettima eventually founded the Agency.
We collaborate with local government primary health care departments to provide services in the farthest reaches of the State. We also handle the hiring, training, and promotion of primary healthcare workers in the State. We also work with international healthcare organizations that want to intervene in the State by adjusting their programs and projects to better suit the needs of the people of Borno State.

- Must a Registered Nurse
- Must be a Registered Midwife
- Must have current practicing license
- Salary and other Condition of Service
- Remunerations are those obtained in the Borno State Civil Service.
