David Oyedepo Foundation (DOF) Scholarship Application 2022/2023

Our primary tool for advancing the mission and objectives of the David Oyedepo Foundation is the scholarship program. The scholarship program provides qualified natives and residents of African nations with full-ride scholarships. The program aims to cultivate young leaders who are prepared to use their newly acquired abilities to guide organizations, communities, and their home nations. Eligibility Requirements

Young Africans who fit the following requirements are eligible for the David Oyedepo Foundation Scholarship program:

  1. Are citizens and permanent residents of any African Nation
  2. Are between the ages of 16 and 25 at the time of application submission.
  3. Are eligible to receive a Nigerian student visa
  4. Are proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
  5. Have a record of exceptional performance at the secondary school level which is benchmarked by:
  6. At least 20 points above JAMB cut off points (for Nigerians only)
  7. 80% recorded average or 4.0GPA/5.0 in Secondary/High School Transcript
  8. Already have begun admission applications to Covenant or Landmark University

Note: Admittance to the universities listed is not guaranteed by applying for the scholarship; all admission must be obtained separately by going through the university’s admissions process. As a result, receiving the scholarship is PENDING on getting into the university. Applications won’t be sent to the selection committee if they don’t meet the aforementioned technical eligibility standards.

Process

A merit-based, open competition is used to choose candidates for the David Oyedepo Foundation Scholarship Program. A selection panel will examine each qualifying application after the deadline. The David Oyedepo Foundation team will conduct interviews with the selected finalists after this review via an internet video conference system. Documents Required For Application

  • If advanced to the final round, the applicant must provide;
  • Proof of application to Covenant or Landmark University
  • Proof of citizenship
  • All original copies of documents uploaded during application.

Benefits

  • For a maximum of 5 years, all academic fees are due. (In accordance with the time allotted by the university for the duration of the selected course.)
  • The scholarship does not cover;
  • Travel allowances
  • Feeding allowances
  • Medical/Health Insurance or allowance
  • Any other fees outside university generated Academic fees for a course at any level.
