The Kaduna Marathon is an annual international event held in Kaduna State, Nigeria. It was created through the collaborative efforts of the Kaduna government and its partners to promote spoofing talent in the state. In this post we will show you how to apply for Kaduna Marathon within and outside Nigeria.
The Kaduna International Marathon 2020 will take place on November 21, 2020, with about N300m to be won. Ten (10) prominent athletes across the world are expected to take part.
According to the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir el-Rufai, the 21km half marathon race, with the theme: “Let’s Run Together”, was targeted at talent hunting, will engage the youth and attract more investment opportunities to the state.
The Governor said there would be prize money ranging from $10,000 for the winner to $1,000 for the 10th position in both male and female elite categories, and N3m for the first-place Nigerian male and female runners to N250,000 for the 10th placed runners.
Note: Kaduna Marathon starting date is 21st November 2020.

Interested persons within and outside Nigeria can submit their applications at the official Kaduna marathon application portal. Anyone can apply regardless of your state of origin.

Please note that application fee applies.
Applicants that live within Nigeria
- Applicants above 18 years will be required to pay N5177.66, while those below 18 years will pay N3147.21.
Applicants that live outside Nigeria
- Applicants above 18 years will pay $50.76, while those below 18 years will pay $30.46.
