The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is set to commence screening and training of Ad hoc staff in Niger State for the conduct of 2023 General elections.
According to a statement by the INEC’s Head Voter Education and Publicity, Arthur Adzape, the screening exercise which will hold across all local government’s offices in the state will commence on January 17 and will end on January 23, 2023.
Adzape said those to be screened are candidates who applied to work as Presiding Officers (POs), Assistant Presiding Officers (APOs) and Registration Area Council Managers (RACs) in the 2023 General election.
He further said that prospective applicants are to come with certificates, identification cards and the acknowledgement slip of their online application.
Adzape, however, stated the date for the screening of Supervisory Presiding Officers (SPOs) will be announced by INEC subsequently.
