Mike Okonkwo 2022 National Essay Competition for Secondary School Students

The 17th season of the Mike Okonkwo National Essay Competition is now accepting entries from Nigerian secondary school students.

The Dr. Mike Okonkwo Essay Competition began in 2004 as part of efforts to commemorate the birthday of TREM’s Presiding Bishop, Dr. Mike Okonkwo (MFR), and, more importantly, to contribute to the educational sector’s progress.

Dr. Mike Okonkwo is the Presiding Bishop of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM), also known as Power in the Word, which has over 200 branches throughout Nigeria and the world. He is a modern-day Apostle whose life has affected millions of people all over the world. Many people consider him to be their father, and he is a pastor to pastors all around the world. Dr. Mike Okonkwo is a powerful conference speaker, crusade evangelist, Nigerian national spokesman, and proponent of a balanced Christian faith.

  1. Maximum of 2000 words
  2. Name of student, class, e-mail, contact phone number and his/her recent passport photograph
  3. Name of school and detailed address (including Name of Principal and phone number)
  4. Essay should be clearly typed
