It’s no surprise that several of your favorite celebs, who have tasted fame and fortune at some time in their lives, have returned to their alma mater.

We’ll look at five of your favorite celebs who returned to school after becoming famous in our first celebrity listicle of 2022.

1. Davido

You might not be inaccurate if you say Davido is the most famous person in this region of the planet. Davido is not just a musician, but also a wealthy young man. He is from the Adeleke dynasty of Ede, Osun State, which is well-known and affluent.

The truth is that Davido’s standing or career would not have suffered if he had refused to return to school after dropping out of Oakwood University in Alabama, United States of America.

The music star, on the other hand, returned to Babcock University to pursue a degree in music. Davido received his diploma in 2015. He attempted to participate in the National Youths Service Corps, but his dream was cut short due to controversy.

2. Florence Otedola

Florence Otedola, better known as DJ Cuppy, graduated from Kings College in London with a degree in Business and Economics before entering the entertainment sector.

The gradual ascent to prominence of the millionaire heiress to the Otedola clan did not dissuade her, as she returned to the prestigious New York University in 2015 to earn a Master’s degree in Music Business.

Just when we believed the popular DJ would enjoy the euphoria of her celebrity, she went back to school. Cuppy was accepted to the famous University of Oxford for a Master’s degree in African Studies in 2021.

3. Rema

The sudden ascent to notoriety of Divine Ikubor, commonly known as Rema, as a teenager, raised a lot of issues.

Everyone was curious as to how and where the adolescent acquired so much talent. His educational history was never actually discussed openly.

Surprisingly, the musician stated in 2022 that he will continue his study. He was admitted to the University of Lagos to pursue a degree in Creative Arts, according to him.

He went on to say that his mother’s pressure prompted him to return to school.

4. Odunlade Adekola

The actor refuted rumors that he was an absentee student during his tenure at the school in an interview.

Despite being a movie legend and recipient of a national honor, the movie star stunned many when he disclosed in 2019 that he had graduated from the University of Abuja with a law degree.
