The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), in collaboration with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), is accepting applications for the second cohort of the iHatch Startup Incubation Programme through its subsidiary, the Office for Nigerian Digital Innovation (ONDI).
This demonstrates NITDA’s continued commitment to promoting and growing digital innovation and entrepreneurship in line with the National Digital Economy Policy and Strategy for a digital Nigeria.
The iHatch initiative aims to increase the number of Nigerian youth-led Innovation-Driven Enterprises and serve as one of the driving forces in positioning Nigeria as a leading entrepreneurial country in Africa.
The first cohort of the iHatch startup incubation program is anticipated to finish in July 2022 at the National Center for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (NCAIR) in Abuja, Nigeria.
The iHatch is a free 5-month intense incubation program meant to help Nigerian entrepreneurs polish their business ideas through a series of coaching, lectures, and bootcamps in order to create scalable business models in the country.
