Npower News Update For Today
Beneficiaries of the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP) reportedly throng Sir Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi State in their thousands to meet and thank His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari for supporting the Program, according to the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development (FMHDS).
The President Buhari administration’s NSIP program aims to lift 100,000,000 Nigerians out of poverty in ten years. The National Home Grown School Feeding Scheme (NHGSFP), Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT), and GEEP are all parts of the NSIP program.
Since the Npower program was established in 2016, three different groups of recipients have gone through it.
The newly enlisted sets for 2022 anticipate receiving their three-month backlog payment soon. For the months of October, November, and December 2022, they are entitled stipends.
The Committee on the implementation and institutionalization of its Strategic Roadmap and Coordinating framework was also established by the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development.
