It has been reported to Nyscinfo.com that a team of Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) allegedly broke into Corper’s lodge and brutalised a female member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) while searching for yahoo boys. According to the report, it happened on 10 September,2020 in Ogbaru Local Government, Anambra State.

“On 10th of September,2020 at 2am, a team of SARS broke nto one of the lodge of the NYSC members claiming to be searching for Yahoo guys. They broke the burglary and forced them into a the lady’s room, assault, abuses and handcuff her like a common criminal for what she knew nothing about. The case was reported to the nearest police station which they admitted of their awareness of the operation and worst of it was their unconcern for the victims by the police officers. We call on the state government, IG and NYSC state coordinator to open an investigation into the incident and bring the perpetrator of this barbaric act to justice and also guarantee the safety of the victim and other corps member in Anambra State.”
