As the federal government starts shortlisting N-Power applicants for physical verification exercise, some applicants of the scheme are worried because they have not been shortlisted despite their high scores in the concluded N-Power test. In this post, we shall look at the reasons you have not been shortlisted for the N-Power Batch ‘C’ verification excercise.
We are referring to those applicants that got the message below;
“You have not yet been shortlisted for the verification stage, please check back later”
If you scored between 50% and 100% and you are yet to receive a congratulatory message for verification stage, then carefully read this post to the end.
Applicants that have not received the congratulatory message should not panic! It does not mean that you will not be shortlisted. Be informed that the shortlisting has not been concluded (it is still ongoing).
The shortlisting is done randomly and in batches in order to balance the selection process. Also, the deployment of selected beneficiaries will be done the same way (randomly), as there will be Npower Stream 1 & 2… Read more about the Npower Streams.
So, it is possible for an applicant in Kaduna that performed poorly in the Npower test to be shortlisted before applicants in Lagos that scored very high, since the selection is done randomly amongst the qualified candidates.
Applicants are still being screened by NASIMS management, so worry not as you will soon be shortlisted for verification. The notification on your dashboard even says “check back later”.
Kindly note that you are not allowed to do Npower fingerprint with your mobile phone, click here to see the reason. Meanwhile, those that have a laptop can do the fingerprint at home, click here for guideline.
Please share until it reaches all Npower applicants. Have question? Go to the comment section below.
