2018 Batch C Stream 2 to receive N41,400 next week

2018 Batch C Stream 2 to receive ₦41,400 next week.

You might be wondering how possible, but read on.

It’s no more news that the Passing out Parade (POP) of 2018 Batch C Stream 2 has been fixed to hold on Thursday, 31st October 2019, which is barely 6 days from today.

But, there’s a question in the lips of all the passing out 2018 C2 Corps Members, “When will our December allowance be payed. Have NYSC forgotten our December 2018 allowance?”

Don’t worry, you’re totally covered and Comrade is here to tell you when it’ll be payed.

Recall that in 2018, when 2018 Batch A came out of orientation camp in May 2018, they received their May allowance in the last week of May and they were all very happy.

When 2018 Batch B Stream 1 came out of camp in August 2018, they received their August allowance starting from September 20th 2018, they were so glad, because it solved most of their problems.

When 2018 Batch B Stream 2 came out of camp in September 2018, they received their September allowance in the last week of September and it was really a thing of joy.

When 2018 Batch C Stream 1 came out of camp in November 2018, they received double allowance of November and December in December 2018, amounting to ₦39,600, and they celebrated it.

But when your set, which is 2018 Batch C Stream 2 came out of camp in December 2018, you didn’t receive your December allowance till date.

Before starting this post I’d mentioned that you’ll be paid a total of ₦41,400, now the question is, how will it happen.

Okay, grab your calculator and let’s do some calculations.

December 2018 allowance= ₦19,800
October 2019 allowance= ₦19,800
Bicycle allowance= ₦1,800

Now, calculate 19,800 + 19,800 + 1,800 = 41,400.

That’s how I’d got the ₦41,400, which you’ll receive next week.

And also note that you’ll for sure receive a part of the minimum wage in arrears, since you were still in service when it was signed into law in April 2019.

When I’d say part, I meant that whatever the new allowance of Corps Members will be by next week, you’ll receive some of it, bring back your calculator, let’s do another calculations.

October 2019 – April 2019 = 7 Months.

So assuming the new allowance for Corps Members will be fixed at ₦31,800, that means 31,800 – 19,800 = 12,000

Then, 12,000 x 7 = 84,000.

So, that means you’ll receive up to ₦84,000 in arrears.

Congratulations on your Passing out Parade and on behalf of nyscinfo.com team, I’d wish you success and a very good job after NYSC.
