The management team of the 3MTT program is currently hiring 37 Learning Community Managers in Nigeria to coordinate the activities of Community members as the 3MTT program is about to begin. The 3MTT Learning Community consists of learners who have access to structured content and a network of fellow learners for support.

About 3MTT Program:

The 3 Million Technical Talent (MTT) program is a crucial part of the Renewed Hope agenda. Its main goal is to develop Nigeria’s technical talent pool in order to drive our digital economy and establish Nigeria as a leading exporter of talent. The first phase of the program, which is being carried out in collaboration with NITDA, will involve various stakeholders such as fellows, training providers, partners, and placement organizations.

The role of the 3MTT Community Manager includes the following responsibilities:

  1. Taking charge of leading, developing, and maintaining S3MTT’s community of technical talent and its initiatives within your state. This includes both internal and external efforts to create scalable programs that attract a diverse group of aspiring Nigerian Technologists. The goal is to prepare them for the tech workforce and other opportunities in the digital economy within your state.
  2. Leading the community and representing the brand of 3MTT in your state. This involves engaging existing community members and attracting new ones to the program. You will be responsible for creating and implementing a state-specific and regional strategy, as well as outreach and messaging efforts to reach the wider community.
  3. Our main focus is on developing models, success metrics, and growth strategies to ensure the long-term success and growth of the 3MTT community in your state.
  4. We will support the team in creating and monitoring metrics to measure learner progress and the effectiveness of our selection process.
  5. Our responsibility includes coordinating the search for volunteer facilitators, experts, venues, hubs, and other stakeholders to host meetups and other events in Nigeria.

Requirements For 3MTT Program Community Manager Recruitment

As the ideal candidate for this role, you should have the following qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant managerial experience and strong leadership skills.
  2. A deep understanding of the Nigeria developer ecosystem will be an advantage (other notable community management experience will also be beneficial).
  3. Understanding of how to effectively use technology and develop scalable systems, programs, and teams without compromising quality.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as good listening skills.
