The Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development (FMYSD) in conjunction with TiimAfrica introduced a grant scheme worth five thousand dollars ($5,000), as at November 2020.
Recently, the foundation has made the application process open as they tend to accommodate one hundred (100) businesses that is being owned by Nigerians.
A supplementary opportunity has been opened by the dual (FMYSD and TiimAfrica) to accommodate the stipulated number of Nigerian owned businesses, numbering one hundred (100) applicants.
The grant is a one time grant opportunity, therefore it shouldn’t be overlooked as only eligible firms are qualified to benefit the five thousand dollars ($5,000) grant price.

Eligibility for the Grant
The following criteria must be met by applying firms/businesses to qualify them for the Grant;
- Applicant must be a citizen of Nigeria within the age range of 25 – 35 years.
- The owned business must be a business operating in Nigeria.
- The business must have being in existence for at least 6 months, with a financial record covering the six (6) months of existence.
Closing Date: The portal is open from now till 19th of February, 2021. Remember it’s a supplimentary application to meet up with the desired one hundred (100) businesses.
