On the 16th of February, 2021, there was an Inter-Ministerial Dialogue between Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development (FMYSD), and Federal Ministry of Humanitarian affairs (FMHDSD) on the National Social Register of Poor & Vulnerable Households in the entire country.
Among the various solutions that was agreed on, the both ministries discussed on several ways to bring out one hundred million (100,000,000) people from poverty in the next ten (10) years.
During the 2021 inaugural Ministerial dialogue on use of the National Social Register of poor & Vulnerable Household, by the both ministry (FMYSD and FMHDSD), questions relating to poverty and how to eradicate it in the household of about one million citizens for a duration of ten (10) years was strictly looked into by the following Honourable ministers namely; Mr. Sunday Dare, Mrs. Sadiya Farouq and Mrs. Dame Pallen T. who is the Minister of Women Affairs in the Federation.
Honorable Sunday Dare gave emphasis on the current leadership of Nigeria government highly led by President Muhammadu Buhari, whose priority is to ensure that Nigerian youths are being empowered.
The collaboration of the both ministry will give positive outcome to unemployment rate in the country. Datas of the youths will be extracted from NSR, which will enable both ministry have a subset of the youths information. With such in place, it will be easy to assist the vulnerable youths when it comes to wealth generation avenues.
Others present at the meeting point, gave their take on the plans to bring about wealth and standard livelihood among Nigerian citizens.
Currently, plans are on ground and it is quite obvious that the government will not relent in supporting vulnerable Nigerians.
