In order to have compatible academic and non-academic activities in primary and secondary schools, both public and private, in Nigeria, the federal government of Nigeria has today fixed a general date for school resumption in the country.
Therefore, this is to notify the general public that, according to the federal government of Nigeria, all academic activities in elementary and secondary schools have been announced to commence on Monday, May 9 2022.
The benefit of this date is to keep all academic activities in line with the approved academic calendar since the country has a standard, generally accepted academic calendar that carries the total runs of each session, as it also has to do with the third term academic activities for the 2022/2023 academic session through a statement from the ministry of education.
Meanwhile, the statement goes thus: “The official resumption date for all schools has been fixed by the Ministry of Education as Monday, May 9.
This is to keep all academic activities in line with the approved academic calendar for the 2022/2023 academic session”.
Note: As stated above, the resumption date is to begin academic activities in primary and secondary schools, which comprise both public and private schools.
