Google issued the Android developer preview for Android 13, the next major Android version, back in February. It was only a month ago that Beta 1 was released. The Android 13 Beta 2 was unveiled at the Google I/O conference. Like the previous two Android versions, this one improves developer productivity while simultaneously boosting privacy and security.
Android 13 Beta 2 includes minor changes to the display size and typefaces, as well as a new currently playing animation, a privacy-protecting photo picker, and updated permissions for pairing with nearby devices and accessing multimedia content, among other things.
Google has asked its partners to contribute beta upgrades for the previous few Android releases, and this year will be no different. ASUS, Lenovo, Nokia, OnePlus, OPPO, realme, SHARP, TECNO, Vivo, Xiaomi, and ZTE smartphones and tablets are all receiving the beta update.
The complete list of devices that will receive the Beta update is listed below.
