The Times Higher Education 2024 ranking has been used to compile a list of the finest universities in Nigeria (both private and public).
According to the recent publication, Covenant University is the finest in Nigeria, with the institution ranking among the top 1,000 in the globe. It is ranked between 801 and 1000 on the global scale.
Covenant, a private institution, is followed by two federal universities, the institution of Ibadan and the Federal University of Technology, Akure, in second and third place, respectively.
The top five are completed by the University of Lagos and Bayero University, Kano.
