The Green Stimulus Programme is among the Economic Sustainability Programmes (ESP) of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration. The Federal Ministry of Youths and Sports Development (FMYSD) implemented this programme as an initiative to support the youths across the country.

Actually, the Green Stimulus program is designed for the purpose of developing a modern breed of well trained technicians who are to acquire the basic, and advanced understanding/knowledge in smart agriculture, and renewable energy.

Through this very program about three hundred (300) youths who are willing to learn submissively will be tutored, and empowered across the six (6) geopolitical zones. The training will definitely be a fully paid program, that will be done via online access.

This part of the project will be carried-out using industry-specific starter packs which will make the candidates (trainees) to become solutions developers for renewable energy and agriculture, service providers, installers, and energy dispensers in the country Nigeria.

Also, Green Stimulus program is directed towards empowering the successful trainees to be capable of generating self wealth, and be self-employed using the acquired skills from the training, and equipment to solve small scale energy needs in their immediate societies.

Eligibility

To be qualified for the Green Stimulus Programme, you must meet up with the following criteria as a candidates;

1. You must be a Nigerian, whose age falls between 18 years to 35 years.

2. Possess a valid means of identification that is recognized in the country (preferably government-issued id).

3. Be willing to travel from your zone (for practical purpose).

4. Have an O’Level qualification, which is the minimum qualification for the program. (could be any of the following; NECO/WASSCE/NABTEB).
