To ensure that visitors feel welcome and that their needs are met at all times during their stay, Rita Lori Hotels Ltd is seeking a Beverage And Food Supervisor to oversee the Hotel’s food quality. The supervisor should exhibit and ensure the highest degree of polite and efficient service.
Main Responsibilities and Duties
- Working closely with and assisting the food and beverage manager, plan, oversee, and control different activities.
- Anticipate visitors’ requirements, reply quickly, acknowledge all guests, and settle problems to ensure that they are satisfied.
- Constant and effective contact with managers and supervisors about any concerns involving guests or workers.
- Encourage and inspire employees by maintaining a positive attitude.
- Maintain the system’s security and operate the POS (point of sale).
- Follow proper cash up and bill management procedures, including cash and credit card transactions.
- Prepare reports for the manager of food and beverage.
- Ensure the seamless operation of the floor and the completion of responsibilities in a professional and timely way by managing waiters, bartenders, and runners.
- Maintain a high level of product expertise.
- If necessary, create weekly staff rosters.
- Service briefings should be held.
- Ascertain that all front-of-house employees follow the “company code of conduct” and “standard operating procedures.”
- Throughout the service, keep a careful eye on the workers to spot any infractions so they can be handled right away.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A diploma in hospitality management or a certificate from a hotel school would be preferred.
- 3 years of experience working in a high-end hotel or restaurant A solid understanding of operational systems (Micros POS and Opera) as well as computer fluency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook
- Product knowledge in the food and beverage industry
- Strong organizational skills and multitasking abilities
- Ability to remain cool when under duress

- Well-dressed and presentable
- Ability to perform extended shifts, including weekends and holidays, during the day and night
- A solid command of the English language, as well as the ability to read and write it, is required. It’s a benefit if you can speak more than one language.
