ASUU Strike To Be Called Off Within Next One Week – FG
The Federal Government of Nigeria, through the Honourable Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu has reportedly said the industrial action embarked by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) would be called off within next one week.
Recall that ASUU embarked on a strike in February 2022 to press their demand from the federal government. This strike has grounded academic activities across the government universities in Nigeria.
However, it seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel as the Federal Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu has disclosed that the strike will be called off within the next one week.
According to a viral tweet from a verified Twitter handle of the ASUU, the ongoing ASUU strike will come to a stop within the next one week.
Kindly note that in the tweet, ASUU only quoted a statement which it credited to the Minister of Education Adamu Adamu.
Meanwhile, in a separate tweet, ASUU said it did not at any time quote a tweet from Education Minister that the strike would be called off within next week.
