Benson Education Foundation Scholarship For Nigerians

The Babatunde Olusola Benson Education Foundation runs a scholarship program to help talented Nigerian students from the Ikorodu division achieve their post-secondary educational ambitions. Successful candidates get annual awards that are renewed depending on academic performance for a maximum of four years.

 

The B.O. Benson Education Foundation’s (BOBEF) scholarship program is an important part of the organization’s mission. Academic records, essays, extracurricular activities, work experience, financial necessity, unusual family or personal situations, and an outside reference are among the qualifications for the awards. FULL TIME 100 and 200 level undergraduates who are Ikorodu Division Indigenes who are enrolled in any first-degree program at an accredited Federal or State University in Nigeria are encouraged to apply.

About Babatunde Olusola Benson Education Foundation

The Babatunde Olusola Benson Education Foundation was established to provide improved access to higher education for citizens of the Ikorodu community. The creator, Chief Babatunde Olusola Benson (SAN), was a lawyer with over 50 years of expertise. He believed that the best form of aid a person can receive is an education. He served as vice chairman of the Commonwealth Lawyers Association and as president and secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association. He also received an honorary Doctor of Law, LLD, from Lagos States University, where he served as a legal adviser for many years.

He believed that you must be dedicated to whatever endeavor you do and that you must not rest until you have achieved your goal and are living a happy life.

BOBEF Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification Requirements

Be a FULL-TIME undergraduate student at a FEDERAL or STATE-RECOGNIZED university.

Be a 100-level student with a UTME/JAMB score of more than 180, or a 200-level student with a grade of more than 2.5 on a 5-point scale.

Be a native of the lkorodu LGA.

  2. A copy of the Ikorodu indigene card
  3. School ID card
