Yesterday, Atiku Abubakar’s son tested positive for the virus and you’re still doubting.

Today, Nigeria has confirmed their first coronavirus death, a 67 year old man that came back from UK around 2 weeks ago, identified as a former Managing Director of Pipelines and Products Marketing Company, (PPMC), Suleiman Achimugu. Until his death, he had an underlying medical conditions; multiple myeloma and diabetes and was undergoing chemotherapy. Coronavirus killed him, because it’s confirmed to be more deadly to those with underlying health conditions, older people and those with weaker immune system.

At the time of writing this, The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed that Nigeria has a total of 36 confirmed cases, with 1 death and 2 discharged persons. Lagos has 25 confirmed cases, FCT has 6, Ogun has 2, Ekiti has 1, Oyo has 1 and Edo has 1.
