European Union 2023 ELbM Scholarships for African Students

African nationals are encouraged to apply for scholarships in the disciplines of mechanical engineering, materials and metallurgical engineering, biomaterials/biomedical engineering, and industrial & manufacturing engineering. There are a total of 22 scholarships available in this ELbM scholarship call, including 12 Masters scholarships (9 credit and 3 degree-seeking), 4 PhD scholarships (3 credit and 1 degree-seeking), and 6 Staff awards. Four (4) African partner institutions jointly manage the ELbM scholarships, which will allow chosen students and staff to pursue postgraduate study, research, teaching, or training.

European Union Masters and PhD Scholarships Benefits

The ELbM scholarship covers round-trip airfare, visa charges, participation costs such tuition, registration, and service fees, insurance (health, accident, travel), a moving-in allowance, a monthly stipend, and a contribution to research expenses related to student mobility of at least 10 months.
