FG Approves New Technology Platform for Npower and Other NSIP Programmes

For the fact that technology is making things easier, the Nigeria Government has never for once felt relaxed when it comes to technological advancement.

During the last Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, the minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Hon Sadiya U.F made known of the new technology platform that was approved by the ministry in regards NSIP management system. The approved platform will take care of the Design, development, and deployment of the NSIP management systems, which will cover Npower, National Home-Grown School Feeding Program (NHGSFP), Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP), and the Household Uplifting Programme @HUPcct.

This was disclosed by the official Twitter handle of the Nigeria Government.

  1. A contract meant for an Integrated real-time data repository, and security solution for Nigerian immigration service was approved.

  2. A change in scope of the contract for Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria, Kano Expressway (Roads) from the rehabilitation contract that was first awarded, to a FULL RECONSTRUCTION, with provisions for tow stations, side-lanes, trailer parks, weighbridges and others was also approved.
