FG Authorized Npower/NSIP Beneficiaries Outstanding Payment

The Federal Government has authorized the payment of outstanding Npower/NSIP beneficiaries.

The minister of humanitarian affairs, disaster management, and social development, Hajia Sadiya Umaru Farouq, announced at the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP) flag-off workshop that the Federal government has authorized the payment of all outstanding dues to independent monitors and other NSIP beneficiaries.

According to the minister, the NSIP is President Muhammadu Buhari’s principal poverty alleviation initiative, consisting of four initiatives targeted at addressing diverse societal concerns. The NPower Job Creation Program, the Government Enterprise Empowerment Program (GEEP), the Conditional Cash Transfer Program (CCT), and the National Home-Grown School Feeding Program are among these initiatives.
