FG Invites PCGS Applicants for Data Capture

We are pleased to inform you that applicants of the Presidential Conditional Grant Scheme (PCGS) are currently receiving invitations for a data capture exercise. This process, essential for advancing the scheme, mandates the submission of applicants’ BVN (Bank Verification Number) and NIN (National Identification Number).

The invitations, sent out to selected applicants, contain specific details based on the applicant’s location. Here’s a sample of the invitation:

Dear Applicant,

You have been nominated for the next stage of the Presidential Conditional Grant Scheme (PCGS). Kindly proceed for your data capture as detailed below:*

Venue: Kura Local Government Area secretariat along Kano Kaduna Road

Date: 13th – 16th March 2024 Time: 12:00 noon Prompt

Helpline: 0700-055-1111

Please come with your BVN and NIN.”

The grant, amounting to N50,000.00 (Fifty Thousand Naira) per beneficiary, aims to support one million nano businesses across the 774 local government areas. This initiative is a collaborative effort between the Federal Government, State Governments, Honourable Ministers, NASME (Nigerian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises), Senators, and House of Representative Members.

These stakeholders utilized the Federal Government’s selection criteria to shortlist beneficiaries from their respective constituents.

It’s noteworthy that the PCGS is a significant step towards empowering small businesses and fostering economic growth at the grassroots level.

For those interested in further opportunities, such as the 3MTT Cohort 1 Innovation Challenge or the Smedan/Microsoft Certified AI Training for Women, more information is on our WhatsApp Group.

As we progress, it’s important to stay informed and take advantage of initiatives like the PCGS to enhance our economic landscape.
