How to Apply for North East Development Commission ICT Resource Program

The North East Development Commission (NEDC) is inviting applications from suitable candidates from Northern Nigeria to take part in the 2021 ICT Resource Program. This programme will cover the six states under the north east geo-political zone. In the previous year’s programme, the North East Development Commission (NEDC) trained over 3,000 (Three Thousand) participants in ICT.

This is definitely a programme to look out for, especially if you are a resident of the six states that fall within the north east geo-political zone.

What is NEDC?

The North East Development Commission (NEDC) is a Federal Government Agency created to rebuild the northern Nigeria after it has been ravaged by insurgency and terrorism, as well as many security challenges that have led to the underdevelopment of the zone.

It shares the same purpose with the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) which was also created by the Federal Government of Nigeria to be in charge of developing the oil rich states that have been devastated by the effects of the long years of oil exploration.

What are the states that are under the north east geo-political zone?

The NEDC resource centre was created for the indigenes of the under listed north east geo-political zone states:

• Adamawa state

• Bauchi State

• Borno State

• Gombe state

• Taraba State

• Yobe State

What is the Purpose for which NEDC Training Resource was established?

Like we said earlier, North East Development Commission (NEDC) has a similar mandate to Niger Delta Development commission (NDDC), to develop the north east region to make it safe.

What are the NEDC Training Registration Requirements?

  1. You must be an indigene of any of Adamawa state, Bauchi State, Borno State, Gombe state, Taraba State, and Yobe State.

How can I Register for the Training?

• Visit the NEDC official application portal at www.nedcresourcecentre.org/register/

• Locate the course you want to train for and click on it and it will take you to where you will register

• Click register as a first-timer

• Once you have registered, go back to your email and click on the link sent to you

• Login back to the NEDC portal to fill the registration form
