IBRO Return Home Fellowship 2022

The IBRO Return Home Fellowship is an initiative that is specially designed for young researchers.

Researchers from developing countries who schooled abroad under the discipline of Neuroscience, are given the opportunity to return home and continue their work as experts.

The program will target three (3) profiles of scientist, that will continue their brain research activities.

Qualified Scientists For The IBRO Return Home Fellowship 2022

The focused scientists for the fellowship are;

  1. Postdoctoral Applicants who must have banked a qualification in Neurosciences and clinical research from a recognized institution abroad.
  2. Any research student trained in a Centre of Excellence in Brain Research (CEBR).
  3. Scientists developing a basic or clinical research career overseas, with the motive to return home and continue in the field.

A letter of reference from two referees, and an acceptance letter to return home are required from applicants.

This will enable such an applicant to be eligible to receive the Grant.

Stipulated Grant

The Grant to be given to qualified fellows is up to twenty thousand euros (£20,000).

Closing Date

The application deadline is on the 10th of September 2021, at about 5pm C.E.T.

Note: Qualified applicants should not in any way be at the laboratory meant for the fellowship until after approval.
