NASIMS Resumes December Stipend Payment, Apologizes For October/November Delay

The National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) has apologized for the incessant delay in payment of monthly stipends to Npower beneficiaries, stressing that all overdue stipends will be cleared in no time.

The anticipation for the payment of monthly stipends, particularly October and November stipends for some Npower beneficiaries, as well as the general December stipend, has elicited mixed reactions among Batch C Stream 1 Npower beneficiaries, owing to the fact that February 2022 is rapidly approaching.

The payment of the December stipend has resumed and is in progress, according to NASIMS, which also urged Npower beneficiaries to be patient while their bank accounts are being credited.

October and November outstanding are being sorted out, according to Npower Management, and are likely to be paid as backlog.

Remember that, although the December Payment was started and was in the “PENDING” stage last week, NASIMS was working hard to credit the Bank Accounts of recipients whose October and November Stipends “FAILED.”

While the Management has blamed network issues for the failed payment, it has promised to settle any outstanding payments owed to Npower beneficiaries as backlogs as soon as possible.
