National Energy Law Essay Competition: How To Submit Entry

The Energy Law Society, LASU, is presently taking entries for its 2022 National Energy Law Essay Competition from all Nigerian undergraduate law students.

The National Energy Law Essay Competition 2022 is now accepting entries. LASU’s Energy Law Society is a prestigious group dedicated to the study of energy law. We are committed to assisting students in recognizing the prospects in the energy sector while also understanding the ins and outs of the industry.

The National Energy Law Essay Competition is being held by the Energy Law Society in honor of Wola Joseph. “Impact of the Global Energy Transition on the Nigerian Power Sector” is the topic.

Benefits of National Energy Law Essay Competition

  • Winner – N150,000
  • 1st Runner up – N100,000
  • 2nd Runner up – N50,000.

Other Advantages

  • Winners will also be given internship chances at Eko Electricity Distribution Plc.
  • Each winner is presented with a plaque.

Qualifications for the National Energy Law Essay Competition

This competition is accessible to all Nigerian law students in their first year of study.

Requirements for Admission

  • It is required that the essay be written in English.
  • The length of the entry must be between 1800 and 2000 words (bibliography and references are excluded from the word count).
  • Entries should be typed in Palatino Linotype font 12 with double line spacing and numbered pages.
  • Entries must be submitted in both Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat PDF format.
  • A scanned copy of the entree’s school ID should be included in the entry.
  • Entries, i.e. essays, must not include any information about the author’s identity, school, phone number, email address, or other means of identification or association.
  • Any form of plagiarism will result in disqualification.
