NDLEA Director Gives Update On 2202/2023 Recruitment Exercise

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency’s Chairman has revealed that NDLEA will soon start hiring for the years 2022–2023.

Brig. Gen. Buba Marwa (ret.), chairman of the NDLEA, stated that they have received presidential authorisation to hire 5,000 people during the upcoming three months.

By Decree No. 48 of the 29th of December 1989, a federal law enforcement agency known as the NDLEA was created. The decree was enacted primarily in response to the growing narcotic drug demand and drug trafficking trend that, in the 1980s, negatively impacted both Nigeria and Nigerians’ reputation abroad.

In order to keep illegal substances out of our communities and contribute to the safety and wellbeing of Nigerians, NDLEA often hires individuals with a variety of skill sets.
In Kotton Rikus, Jos, Plateau State, they conduct recruitment for entry-level cadets into the NDLEA Academy.

The Agency is looking for qualified individuals to fill administrative and support positions, such as accountants, ICT professionals, secretaries and administrative assistants, human resource staff, communication specialists, legal services and finance officers, etc.

Although the recruiting process has not started, interested NDLEA candidates should visit the careers page at https://ndlea.gov.ng/careers to learn more about the recruitment schedule.
