Netflix/GOBELINS Scholarships 2023-2024 for African Animators

Netflix and GOBELINS

Netflix and GOBELINS are now offering six scholarships for students from the African continent for the September 2023 intake in an effort to find and develop new animation talent.

This two-year English-taught course aims to prepare students for a professional career, particularly in directing and storytelling in a multicultural setting. In addition to writing, storyboarding, and complicated animation (mixed techniques, interactive characters) activities, students take part in a final film with an open theme that is produced in settings resembling a workplace.

Details

Six students who will successfully be admitted to GOBELINS’ Master of Arts in Character Animation and Animated Filmmaking will benefit from this scholarship.
