NYSC Announces 2019 Batch B Stream 1 POP Date
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced the passing out parade (POP) date for 2019 Batch B Stream 1 amidst COVID-19 outbreak.
According to a circular released by the NYSC, the approved date for winding/passing out date of 2019 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1 is on Thursday, 28th May, 2020.
NYSC also released time table of the passing out programme of activities.
Below is the official circular:
“I write to inform you that the Director-General has approved Thursday, 28th May, 2020 as the date for the Passing-Out of the 2019 Batch ‘B ‘ (Stream 1) Corps Members.
2. Given the circumstances of the Covid-19 Pandemic, and the required protocol for social/physical distancing, State/FCT Coordinators are enjoined to carry out the following:
i. Release official vehicles to convey the Certification officers with letters of introduction for inter-state or border crossings, to facilitate the collection of Certificates of National Service at the NDHQ;
ii. Create enabling environment, preferably, open spaces for the distribution of Certificates of National Service to Corps Members by creating at least ten (10) service points;
iii. The distribution of Certificates if National Service Service be staggered for a period of ten (10) days, at the first instance, in compliance with the approved protocol of social distancing, and continued thereafter depending on the number of the remaining Certificates.
iv. Each distribution point in the State should not have more than thirty (30) Corps Members, with a minimum of three (3) NYSC officials supervising the process;

Good morning sir, please for those of us that travel to our variouse home because of this pendamic disease, and we cannot go back on that 28th of May for our certificate since there is lockdown everywhere, how do we do sir.
