NYSC online registration guidelines and requirements is a post that will show you all the necessary things needed to register online, and also provides guidelines that are to be strictly followed during online registration to ensure that you don’t make costly mistakes.
The NYSC online registration portal opens only when new registration is active.
Only Prospective Corps Members (PCM) who have seen their names on the Institution’s Academic Board Approved Senate List are eligible to register online at the portal.
The institution you graduated from will start the registration by uploading your details on the NYSC portal, but you are to finish the registration by submitting other require things that you Institution could not provide.
Below are some tips to guide PCMs during NYSC online registration:
- DO NOT thumb-print by proxy: what this means is, let no one thumb-print for you because the person will not follow you to camp to verify the thumb-print and will not continue to be thumb-printing for you during monthly bio-metric clearances. It will be a disaster if you let someone thumb-print for you!
Make sure the passport photograph uploaded is very clear.
DO NOT forget the e-Mail and Password used for the online registration: This is very important because you need it for subsequent login to your dashboard; it’s advisable to use something you cannot forget as your Password.
Apply for correction of spelling mistakes and rearrangement of names on your dashboard. If your name is not correctly spelt or if the arrangement is not in order, you can apply for correction during online registration.
Cross-check your records before submission. Don’t just submit after filling the e-form, cross-check ‘entries’ you made to avoid submitting wrong details that will affect you later.
Print-out in colored, the Green Card or Personal Details slip.
