The Presidential Youth Empowerment Scheme (P-YES) is a Public Private Partnership (PPP) initiative designed by the Special Assistant to the President of Nigeria on Youth & Students’ Affairs. About P-YES Recruitment
The Pyes initiative with is designed to function in partnership with the State Governments and private sectors, to develop a system for the facilitation of Nigeria’s Employment and Youth empowerment drive.
The primary aim for creating the scheme is to empower youths by creating opportunities and the enabling environment for wealth creation by arming the youth with the necessary skills, knowledge and resources needed to make them productive, thereby reducing unemployment rate and creating an economically empowered Nigerian youths that are strategically positioned to contribute to nation building.
P-YES Training
Shortlisted beneficiaries of the Presidential Youth Empowerment Scheme are to undergo orientation training in vocational skills such as information tech, agriculture, fashion, catering, and more.
After the training, successful beneficiaries will be equipped with Seed Empowerment Tools (SETs) such as rice mills, mobile kiosks, poultry accessories, mobile restaurants, farm implements, tents, and photography units, and more.

To successfully register for this programme, kindly login to the PYES registration portal at www.pyes.gov.ng/application.
Once you visit the registration portal, enter your phone number and email address to start filling the Pyes application form. Kindly note that a confirmation code will be forwarded to your phone or email address. Therefore, ensure that you provide accurate contact.
P-YES Registration Requirements
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 40 years.
- A means of identification (i.e., National Identity Card, International Passport, and Permanent Voters Card).
- Be able to communicate in English and local language.
- Must possess upright character and a stable mind.
- Endorsement of a local government official.
- A guarantor, preferably a religious leader or a community leader.
- Guarantors’ form.
