Cost of Road Transportation In Nigeria From One State To Another

This post is about the cost of road transportation in Nigeria, from one state to another state. Therefore, our discussions on this page will focus on inter-states road transportation cost across the Nigeria’s states.

This post is going to serve as a great help to all those, especially NYSC Prospective Members who’ll be travelling from their states of origin to states of deployment; it will specifically help them to know the amount of money they need to budget for transportation fare.

However, it’s important to know that the cost of road transportation in Nigeria is not fixed; it varies from time to time and from one transportation company to another. Therefore, the figures below are the estimated amount to travel from one state to another by road.

NOTE: In the list, we picked two states and then give the estimated amount of road transport cost, the costs are also applicable when reversed. For example, Kebbi to Bayelsa is said to cost ₦11,500, so we can equally say that Bayelsa to Kebbi is ₦11,500. The point is that the arrangement does not really matter.
