There is good news for all Nigeria lovers/users of the social media platform known as Twitter.

It was made known by the FG that the platform which was banned has been approved to recommence its operation.

It can be recalled that about two hundred and twenty-two (222) days ago, exactly seven (7) months, Nigeria government suspended the platform.

The ban to operate in Nigeria was due to President Muhammadu Buhari’s to tweet that was deleted as of June 2021.

Currently, the conditions given to twitter has been met and both parties have reached a concrete agreement.,

Hence the Federal Government of Nigeria has lifted the ban with effect from 12:00am, Thursday 13th of January 2022.
