The University of Ilorin, also known as Unilorin in short form, is owned and funded by the Federal Government of Nigeria. Unilorin is located in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara state of South West Nigeria. Since it was established in 1975 by a military government through a military decree.

How to use Unilorin Students Portal
Step-One
Update your profile
- Before you have access to do this, your admission must have been confirmed by JAMB on the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

On accepting your offer of admission, visit the school’s website and click on “undergraduate”.

Hit the “Pre-Admission Screening Login” link on the site.

Your JAMB Registration Number is your Login and your surname is the password. Use them to sign in.

To verify your admission, click on “Check Admission Status”.

If you confirm you admission, proceed to pay 20, 000 acceptance fee.
Step-Two
Clearance Process
- Upload all the documents needed for clearance.

Use your ATM card to pay the 20, 000 acceptance levy on the site.

Wait for confirmation of your clearance before you move to the following phase.

Upon your clearance, pay 5, 000 for your internet service.

On successful payment for clearance and internet service, proceed to pay the school fees and other miscellaneous charges.
Step-Three
Registration of Courses
- Login to the portal again and your bi0-data on the website.

As a requirement, change your first password which was your surname, to a different one that you can memorize. Ensure it remains confidential.

Click on the “Course Registration” link. As advised by your Course Adviser/HOD.

Print your Course Registration Form. Here, you will interact with your Level Adviser to confirm the courses you have picked before you pay your departmental levies which can be done with your ATM card.
