However, about 4 million applicants of the scheme who were not selected in the Stream 1 are worried and expecting to get luck in Stream 2, as everyone wants to know when Stream 2 shortlisting will commence.

NASIMS source who pleaded anonymity had said the Stream 2 shortlisting would commence on June 15, but now it has been debunked by the management team.

According to NASIMS, Batch C Stream 2 shortlisting cannot commence because Stream 1 shortlisted candidates are still on the Biometric registration.

Another source from State Focal Person of N-SIP revealed that the list of Batch C Stream 1 have not been forwarded to the States, alleging that the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs has kept the State Focal Persons in shadows.

“We have not seen the list of Batch C Stream 1 in the States. I have been calling other focal persons and they said no list has been sent to them.

“We only get to know one is shortlisted when she calls to verify the congratulatory letter sent to her from NASIMS.

“In fact, many Focal Persons are complaining about how the Ministry has kept them in shadows. We have complained and they said they will improve,” the source said.

Also, the source added that since the selection process for Stream 1 is still ongoing, shortlisting of the Stream 2 will not take place as it would complicate the whole process.
