Secondary school students who raped a female Corps member have confessed to the crime after they were arrested by Nigerian Police.
Nyscinfo.com gathered that operatives of Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) arrested two secondary school students of Ogbogbo Baptist Grammar School, Ogun State for raping a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member who happens to be their class teacher.
Bamidele Ayeni and Isiaka Akanji allegedly raped their victim a day before Valentine day at 7:30 pm when the victim was returning from a church service at Ijari.
The two students had previously delivered warning letters to the Corp member, with threats of dealing with her any day they have their chance.
However, the students have confessed stating that one of the reasons they raped the NYSC member was that, she is always good at keeping them in the classroom without sparing them some minutes, even on break times.
“She likes spending so much time in class, she doesn’t allow us to go on break time and she is fond of reporting us to the principal whenever she feels like,” they said.
The two students had stopped attending classes after they committed the crime, and they were arrested at different places.
Bamidele and Isiaka also confessed to be members of a secret cult, noting that they were both initiated four months ago.
“We were promised a higher position if only we could kill at least 2 people.”
Meanwhile, The Commissioner of Police, Yomi Adamson said the suspects will be charged to court after thorough investigation.
