The minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Hon. Sadiya Umar F. had claimed that the federal government cleared all backlog payments of the exited N-Power volunteers (Batches A and B). According to her, all outstanding backlog payments were cleared few weeks ago, after eight thousand nine hundred (8,900) Batche A and B beneficiaries got their payments through the office of the accountant general of the country.
In response to this, the affected persons have come out to deny the claim through their representative officiaI Twitter handle (@Npower_Reps) describing the claim as a ‘Lie of the Century’.

From the response, they were fully aware that fourteen thousand (14,000) exited beneficiaries are to receive their backlog payments, which the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs attest to. But it is came as a shock to them when the minister said that the federal government had cleared the backlog.
They are now making it clear that they have made direct contacts with the affected persons, and no arrears payment was received as claimed by the minister and tagged it as A LIE OF THE CENTURY.
